  7. Minutes of the Internet Accounting Working Group (ACCT)
  8.  
  9. The Internet Accounting Working Group met Friday morning, November 20th
  10. to hear the interim results of work done by Nevil Brownlee of the
  11. University of Auckland and review proposed changes to the draft
  12. Accounting MIB to improve performance characteristics.  Since progress
  13. towards a Standard now depends on the implementation of a working MIB.
  14. The Working Group has agreed to become dormant pending initial
  15. implementation.  The Internet Accounting Architecture will be revised so
  16. as not to prohibit such changes and will be submitted for publication as
  17. an RFC.
  18.  
  19. Discussions and announcements will continue on the Working Group mailing
  20. list.  (The address for requests to join the mailing list is
  21. accounting-wg-request@wugate.wustl.edu)
  22.

  24. working group.
